Okay Luke. You have piqued my interest as to how Villanelle will kill Balice, the bitch. Villanelle's flick of the knife toward Myrtha and imbedding it into the wood was so nonchalant, I had to laugh. Villanelle is so adept with knives and guns. She is a natural and was well-trained by her father. Please don't let Villanelle get cozy with Balice. I can't stand the woman and she gives me the creeps. Just let Villanelle kill her off and be done with it. She doesn't need to bite her neck to kill her, as a vampire would. She can just stab her in the neck, hitting the carotid artery. Balice needs to be gone! Villanelle has needs sexually and she needs Eve to fulfill her desires. Villanelle needs to get back to Eve, her true love. Eve fulfills her sexually and emotionally. Please let her get back to Eve as soon as possible.

I suddenly have so many questions about Villanelle's father and her relationship with him. But no time for that, gaaah! This is a cliffhanger for sure. Can't wait for next week. (I'm sweating bullets waiting for what is sure to be a dastardly outcome for my character of interest :-O )

Great Chapter…. 👏👏👏 I’m more&more intrigued to see where this is going . I did have to laugh how Villanelle was so unfazed about the knife thrown towards her , really cant stand Balice! The hand & hand walk thoughts made my skin crawl 😂 but seems this is very much game time for Villanelle! Hope Villanelle makes her pay big time , Thanks again Luke the mastermind 👏👏👏 can’t wait for the next chapter will be counting down the days & hours again 😂 💯🔥🎢

Ps meant how unfazed or unbothered Villanelle was throwing the knife towards Myrtha & cracking on with Are these fresh vanilla beans? 🤣so Villanelle love it

Sorry Luke, but I have another comment. Please do not let Villanelle take a romantic walk with Balice, unless she intends to drown her! Balice is so very creepy; she makes me sick! Also, please do not let Villanelle bite Balice's neck until it bleeds. We lesbians have had enough vampire lesbians to last a lifetime! Just let Villanelle slit her throat, which she can do so well without getting bad blood in her mouth. I wouldn't want Villanelle to get sick on Balice's poisonous blood! Thanks, Luke, for your patience with my comments, but I love Villanelle and want her to safely return to her love, Eve.

To be honest, this vampire thing always left me rather clueless.

Alright Luke, this was absolutely so well written, I could visualize everything happening in that moment! Villanelle eating food and asking for dessert, ha!!! The knife flinging across the room with precision, hitting the wood and stopping Myrtha in her tracks. Brilliant!!!

Knowing Villanelle, she's going to play with Balice. Balice's death will not come quickly, as we all wish. Villanelle needs to know why she and Tiberius are so tight. What secrets does she sleep with? Will Villanelle untangle the thread of lies Balice has woven together?

Thank you Luke. I wonder if this new development with Balice introduces a bigger plot twist. Who the heck is Balice and who is she tangled up with that would give her access to Tiberius? The plot most definitely thickens and next week can't come quick enough.

Why did Myrtha get in the car with Johnny (and not Balice)? What do the twelve want with her, and why wouldn't MI5 be the ones to take her? Does this blow Johnny's cover? Previously, Villanelle discussed a different plan with Johnny than Balice. Is this part of that "different plan"? Terrific installment, as usual. I really enjoy how suspenseful and unpredictable the storyline has been. Thank you!

Yeah -- I also wondered what they want with this Myrtha. But since The Twelve are a rather shady organization there are different possibilities. What if their plan actually is to take over the criminal organization and need Myrtha's insider knowledge for that? The Twelce are not exactly a charity...

Really enjoying this story. Am a fan of the tv show but have read your novels as well, and love the thriller pacing. I also appreciate your take on the E+V relationship. Die For Me saw a Villanelle who was rather harsh and a bit cruel towards Eve (which I know a lot of fans didn’t care for), but to me it made sense in context of who Villanelle is and was (ruthless, really…easy to forget), and how she had suddenly found herself tied to Eve (and vice versa) essentially overnight after barely meeting twice. But despite the harsher tones, I thought you really captured the little ways that Villanelle was truly becoming devoted to Eve and was wrestling with how to navigate that as she realized it was something she really wanted to keep and had to learn how to.

(I actually think the show pulled back on Eve in S3-4 taking big radical leaps like this bc they spent too much time trying to make it make sense as to why she might after V had shot her…but frankly Eve not making sense is I think exactly who she is and why we’re here, and what makes her obsession with V so interesting. Just not sure why they ultimately chose to make her reckless but in a direction opposite Villanelle. I think we missed out on some good on-screen stories if we had only let Eve let loose with her obsession. But I digress lol)

Resurrection feels like a natural continuation of their relationship, both from your books and the show. Villanelle has learned somewhat to be (or has accepted that she is) vulnerable bc of her feelings for Eve, and is still learning how to navigate that (her recitations of Eve’s quirks, and her being upset when she knew that Eve knew she was lying, but still didn’t know what to do about it, say so much).

The Balice hookup was a gut punch—but this time it wasn’t bc it was some gratuitous need to be cruel. It hurt to see, but it hurt bc of how much Villanelle was hurting. Bc we had just seen her absolutely laid out flat by what seemed to be Eve giving up on Villanelle, and right after she’d dropped the facade and fallen at Eve’s feet in anguish. Ugh my heart. She didn’t go to Balice to hurt Eve, she stumbled to her because she was blind with loss and pain and hoped to eradicate Eve from her mind. (Hopefully that was the last of it, tho!) The sweater pic realization and Villanelle’s heart soaring (and subsequent jewelry manipulation) was just a great bit of storytelling. Loved it.

Hate to see this come to an end. Can’t wait to see what the MI6/fake twelve/twelve plot resolves to (hopefully nobody floating in the Thames). And for Villanelle to be reunited with Eve and for us to find out what’s been happening on her end of things. Thank you for continuing to write! It’s quite lovely to know that our gals are canonically alive and well and navigating a complicated future together. Also hoping this means we get another Killing Eve novel in the future? How anyone ever thought there were no stories left to tell here (esp with the amazing cast we had) is beyond me. And breaks my heart a little. Reading this has helped a lot.
