She had finally shown her vulnerability, now she will be full of rage&chaos I don’t think the devil himself could tame her at this rate he would definitely 🏃♀️ So emotional seeing her in this state ….but & I mean a big but I think the tables had to turn . Another big BUT: here it felt as if what I call the Villanelle programming once again is trying to get the upper hand over the true Oxana emotions. A bit schizophrenic, as if Villanelle tries to convince Oxana that love is weakness. I mean she wants to wipe out all common memories with Eve? Really? It's as if two separate souls live inside her, and they are at war.
💯 I have always believed Villanelle has been at war with herself , especially when it comes to her love for Eve & the emotions she holds for her….but I think we can all say to a certain degree we are all at war with ourselves at least one time in our own lifes . The way Luke articulates it though is truly outstanding ! schizophrenic ? I don’t agree ! Cold & ruthless at times yes , I would look more along the lines of cptsd/a mix of personality disorders definitely arrested development and that’s why I feel she struggles with expressing her emotions & sees it as a sign of weakness due to the lack of emotions she has been shown herself . Remember losing her mother at a very young age , her father being murdered everyone she has loved she had lost. Her upbringing wasn’t a bed of roses , so what is normal to her won’t be normal to others, including being groomed by the 12, yes she had a violent streak but the 12 normalised that towards her . Kind of like a dog eat dog world (kill or be killed) her personality traits all began from a child upwards she picked up some unhealthy habits, I still have a lot of hope for her & I believe her love runs so deep in her own way it’s so much deeper than your average joe …. But hey that’s just my opinion I could go on & say so much more but honestly wouldn’t want to bore you 😂 with me trying to psychoanalysing Villanelle …. What I do see now though especially from where we are right now is growth , & very few people who have suffered trauma are able to show signs of growth I believe Eve has helped Villanelle find growth through their love . As for her wanting to wipe out all common memories with Eve in my opinion that’s just Villanelle putting up her wall as a coping mechanism trying her best to numb out her feelings , it’s very common when one is hurting so much . It’s our brains way of protecting us -emotional shutdown ! Which we all know she very clearly struggled with

Really am enjoying the inner dialogue within Villanelle, love seeing it from her perspective, & her internal struggle. Doubt Balice is gonna enjoy what’s to follow with her and Villanelle, she saw V kill her partner, & now she’ll get to see a heartbroken V looking to move on 😈.

So many things... I noticed again that the men in these writings really are all dorks. This security guard who sees how Villanelle rips out Balice's earrings, tearing her ear lobes, and all he is concerned about is Villanelle's "foul" language when she dares to use the word bitch. So out of touch... so useless...
Re-reading again and man this chapter still hits hard. I actually couldn’t comment on it the first time around bc it felt just a little too real…recalling fragmented memories all at once like that sucked the wind out of my lungs and I kind of had to move on quickly lol. But I’ve definitely experienced something like this; it’s been quite some time but this chapter really captured those feelings so succinctly. That feeling when all you want is to fix it, but realize there’s nothing you can do, so every good/bad/tiny memory suddenly becomes too painful to even have around—delete, delete, delete. It’s a very survivalist-mode/protection response. Villanelle is hurting bad. Great chapter.

I actually couldn’t comment on it the first time around bc it felt just a little too real…recalling fragmented memories all at once like that sucked the wind out of my lungs and I kind of had to move on quickly lol. But I’ve definitely experienced something like this; it’s been quite some time but this chapter really captured those feelings so succinctly.
