Luke, thank you for this. Your story telling and building is truly magnificent. From there now being a new 12 in the fold (RATS 😂) that will command Balice’s attention while the real 12 work their way into MI6 is hilarity.

Thank you for E&V’s tender love and care. I found myself at times waiting for the next installment thinking of them resting and recouping in those huts and just how perfect it felt for them to have a place at peace in the world. I truly enjoyed these stories, your writing, and for protecting the characters your brilliantly created.

Thank you and enjoy your break! Off to other books you’ve written for me to explore and to further enjoy your writing. I do hope you are able to publish Resurrection and Bloodline down the road for me to add to my collection.

Lastly, thank you again for giving a space to the LGBTQIA community and for not following the trend of killing off the gays. This story is fictional but love, care, and commitment are stories this community needs. Love can conquer anything and boy do E&V but that to the test! Thanks for caring Luke, you will always be up high on my list of allies.

Warmly and appreciatively,

E.B. Flory

Damn, sir—that was hot! And terribly moving. I love the succinct ways you capture their intimacy; it always says so much. And the callback to pchelka/пчелка baby bee! The cutest nickname from the sweater Eve wore in DFM, but also the first time V told Eve she loved her. Things went in a decidedly different direction after that instance, so I love the echo here to see how far they’ve come. Ugh, my heart. And then we get this:

“She kills me, as always, and brings me back to life again. How is that the better we know each other’s body, the more desperate becomes our need to explore, to scour, to devour? There are no roles here, no familiar routines. It’s terra incognita every time.”

I love that. It says so much more about their emotional and mental connection, even in referencing the physicality. Great line. Major swoon.

Loving the way this has wrapped up. And that we get to keep Johnny Fernandes! We knew there was more to this assignment than was said, but I love that this is another glimpse into his character and sophisticated way of working, being able to truly handle Villanelle, sometimes even by just knowing how to let her do her thing.

But oh my gosh, Eve’s line about part of the plan being Balice slowly losing control of the situation—the perfect setup to recall Balice initially storming into the house making demands of everyone and disrespecting Eve…to now being stuck at home distracted by Emily Blunt roleplay, watching news updates on her phone and wrangling rat babies. The way Johnny somehow turned that tornado loose on Balice…hilarious. Bili is the most bizarre wild card!

I definitely hope you do come back to your gals again once you’re able, as it sounds like there is a lot more great story to come (maybe even keeping Valentin around a bit somehow? I’m kind of fond of him now! And his energy with V+E is pretty cute). But we certainly appreciate you taking time away to focus where you need to rather than forcing anything along here if the schedule doesn’t work for you right now. And that we still have the Substack group to keep up on those updates. This has become a nice little bright spot in my busy week, so I’m glad for that even if KE is on pause.

Thank you for the great stories and for still writing for us, and I look forward to your other projects and upcoming novel! Be well.

What a closing instalment 💯🔥👏👏👏! So well played out Luke , I feel quite emotional 😂 loved every single instalment of bloodline … Johnny is one clever man , who certainly knows how to play chess. Checkmate! Loved it start to finish …. Oxsana (Villanelle) is very good at working things out . Lovely ending to bloodline that leaves the door open for promising more adventures… I wonder where Balice&Bili will go with Alice & the 12 rat babies 😂. I was not expecting this ending , you always continue to surprise me . Thank you Luke the mastermind 👏👏👏 It has been & is a pleasure to be apart of your V&E adventures🎢 & I will always continue to support & never come off your epic 🎢 . Such a pastoral scenery they are finally resting in, I truly believe they needed it, after all those political maneuvers and royal intrigues. After all, Eve and Oxana will always be on their own, because it’s genuinely impossible to trust any of those organizations. Good they’re on the same page mentally and emotionally; the intimacy is now beyond maps. Also, there is a gap of thought before the new adventure begins. I have some open questions…

The twelve little rats, god, I laughed so hard.

Thanks, Luke, as ever! Looking forward to the next adventures whenever they come ♥️

I dont know why but the, "single mother of 12. We need a bigger flat" absolutely sent me into a silent chuckle.

What a great closing to the final installment of Bloodline! I have enjoyed reading your work so very much. You are an amazing author. Oxana was always good at working through complex problems and figuring things out. I love the exchange between Eve and Oxana. Very romantic and sexy! ❤️🔥The two women are deeply in love and Oxana is very giving to Eve. I loved it. As far as Balice and Bili go, they are a truly strange pair. So now with all of those rats, what's next for them? Will Balice be eaten up by them? That would be okay with me. 🤣 I hope you have a wonderful time with all of your other projects and am always excited about the future adventures of our lovely girls, Oxana and Eve. Thank you so much for your brilliant writing. I very much appreciate it. Always your fan, Diane❤️

Brilliant! Oxana and Eve live to play another day. Truly, it's a great end and leaves the door open for the future, should you wish to continue with our heroines. It's been great travelling along on this journey with you Luke. Thanks for bringing us all out of the depths of our despair after Killing Eve left us bereft. Have great break, write your other books, and keep Villanelle alive. xx

Luke, this was such a perfect ending to Bloodline! I loved every second of reading it! Oxana and Eve finally reconnected with such intimacy and warmth.

I'm so glad Oxana figured out what Johnny intended and that they are safe. Our girls finally have a break to enjoy each other and rest until their next adventure.

Balice and Bili are quite a pair! It seems Balice is actually happy and really does care about Bili, in all of her quirky ways. "The Twelve" new baby rats will certainly keep them busy.

Luke, Bloodline was absolutely fantastic! Thank you for fulfilling your promise of bringing back Villanelle! It means the world to me...to all of us!

I'm your biggest fan and I will always support you and cheer you on! Can't wait to see what the future holds!😀

Your friend,

Desiree

Another addition to the cell of Twelve🤣 Can't wait to see how that plays out. Yes indeed, Johnny the chess player, strategic move by move. Love how Oxana & Eve figured things out. Glad they had time together as well while we wait for the next adventure.

Enjoy your break. Plan to check out your other books. Happy Holidays.

Thank You Luke

I really loved this ending as it leaves room for continuing stories of our girls.

Alice the Rat having 12 babies...everything still revolves around the 12...love the symbolism.

Enjoy your time and I hope you have a good break.

Looking forward to where you take Eve and Villanelle and us your devoted fans. I know you will continue to keep our girls safe and and moving forward.

We will be will be waiting when you start us on our next adventure with Eve and Villanelle.

Thank You Again Luke.

Thank you, that was awesome! I'm happy to see our ladies in a very nice happily-ever-after-for-now situation. I do wonder about Bili, though... I doubt that she's as much of a fluff-head as she pretends. I suspect Balice will be getting headaches soon, especially with 14 new dependents. 😂 Have a great break!

I'm so sad to see the story's end, as I always am with Villanelle and Eve. Good job, as always!

It amuses me to see how closely Oxana and Eve have been identified with the actors who played them. As a writer, I've always been leery of too closely describing my characters, to let the readers imagine them better...but thanks to the TV show, Oxana will always be Jodi and Eve will always be Sandra (no complaints, they're both perfect in their roles). Rereading the original stories after seeing the first season of the show, I know you saw them a bit differently.

Finally, wherever did you find the name Balice?

Great ending.

I worried, for a moment, when you said Thelma and Louise…

All last week, I thought, they would escape to Alaska.

A fitting closure, just the same.

What a wonderful way to end a series!

Good luck on the future!
