I don’t doubt she’s enjoying her new distraction, but she may be somewhat an unreliable narrator with all that she doesn’t know, and I don’t know that someone as unstable as her will just get over Villanelle that easily. Still looking forward to V learning that Eve was the original sniper target, and losing her shit…

Also, can we expect more V&E time soon? 🙃 Was rereading Die For Me in bits recently between work deadlines, and was surprised to remember how many more convos they had—though they did have quite a lot of growing pains to work through lol. They’ve come quite a long way! I also love the format you’re using in this one where you occasionally switch to a first-person perspective for various characters; it really makes the story even more dynamic, and I love the little bits you choose to reveal there.

Agree, I hope we can have more V and E time too, because it seems to me to be more about balice and bili than our favorite duo..and I don’t care about balice and bili…It seems like no one can write Villanelle and Eve together, when there could be so many scenarios with the two of them...🤦♀️
I still like the scenes with the others, the story is still building and there is a lot happening to figure out where the plot is going, and I like all the reveals. But sure, I’m always greedy for more VE time. I like watching their relationship continue to develop in canon. (Autocorrect tried to make that say “Cabo”…yeah, I guess they could develop some in Cabo, too! 😹) I’m sure we’ll get there!
Poor thing Balice, good luck with your denial! I don’t believe in Bili’s good intentions and playing 'demure' girl either, but still–isn’t it too soon for manipulating your new girlfriend, Balice? Have some conscience!
Excellent metaphor with the cat and the rat, Luke! A predator happens to be a prey; malevolence always present, lurking and waiting for the right moment to strike.

p.s. I forgot to mention that Vil rushing to Valentine and calling an ambulance got all my attention. Evil in the details or is it just me overthinking?
I love every bit of he Rat episode. The dialogue in bed, the creeping downstairs with the cat, the battle between cat and rat ending in ear damage and a hasty getaway from Kitth. Then, the coming down of their son and that mishap. It was all wonderfully written and flowed very quickly.
The rat is back 😂 omg one of my biggest fears! Don’t think Villanelle will be in a hurry for more pork pie 😬 😂! That cat definitely knocked Valentin off his feet …. Not great especially being haemophiliac 🩸. Very interesting dynamic between Balice & Bili , very much looking forward to how Bili may get into the house & what type of encounter she may have with Villanelle&Eve . Thank you Luke ( The mastermind) very much looking forward to the next instalment 💯🔥🎢👏 back to counting down the days & hours
I had to circle back on an additional detail, as I would be remiss if I neglected to point this out— The pork pie (come on, it had cranberry topping). The cell phone call to your s.o. when you find yourself in dire straits a mere 10-50ft. away, but shouting isn’t possible or practical… Ask me how much I love that V&E somehow manage to still experience the most mundane, relatable parts of life in the midst of violence and chaos. Because I love it. ♥️
Loving that Balice still holds more distain for Eve than Villanelle. Getting the feeling Bili, while not as deceitfully skilled as Villanelle, is smart enough to “play” Balice to her advantage and will end up leaving Balice “high & dry” and desperate to go after Eve for her own pride…can’t wait for that.
